Kiho means “Mist” in the local Runyakitara language. The Lodge derives its name from the mist-covered hillsides that are home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

Located in Ruhija sector, in the Eastern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This 10 suite luxurious lodge is tucked away in the heart of the impenetrable rain forest which also provides shelter to a further 120 mammals, including several primate species such as baboons and chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes. There are around 350 species of birds hosted in this forest, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics.

Rooms

Our 10 luxury suites are secluded and surrounded by wonderfully untamed vegetation that gives you the illusion of staying deep in the African jungle. While staying with us, you will enjoy exceptional dining experiences only fit for a king.
