Visa issuance bound to move entirely to the online platform by 1st January 2021.

E-Visa

The Immigration Director-General recently hosted a Stakeholder’s Consultative meeting to discuss the E-Visa. A key output of the meeting was the need to phase out the manual visa issuance on arrival and move entirely to the E-Visa only system by 1st January 2021.

Kenya will therefore fully shift to an electronic visa system and effectively ease the process of entering the country even as the coronavirus pandemic continues to flaw in-person applications.
