Fisherman’s Camp is a great base for your Kenyan experience, with its beautiful campsite and comfortable bandas. Lake Naivasha is one of the few fresh water lakes in the Kenya Rift Valley, which is situated at an altitude of 6,200 feet. Beyond the lake sits the Kinangop and Aberdare mountains, which reach up to 13,000 feet.
The camp has toilets and washing facilities and tents are also available for hire. Candalabra Camp has a range of bandas and cottages, from basic to self catering, with spectacular views of the lake 200 feet below.
Fisherman’s provides every luxury to make your camping as comfortable as possible with tents and mattresses for hire all you need is to turn up, piping hot shower awaits you arrival, and clean flushing toilets. The camp is within the electric fence, which keeps hippos as a safe viewing distance.
Lake Naivasha and its surrounding area have an amazing range of activities on offer within easy reach of Fisherman’s Camp. Hell’s Gate and Longonot National Parks, Crater Lake and Crescent Island game sanctuaries all offer wonderful opportunities to see game by foot, bike or vehicle.
