The club was pened in 1927 and has 9 holes. Njoro has wide fairways and numerous bunkers and it remains green throughout the best part of the year. Clubhouse, meals and accommodation available (5 guest rooms) / Temporary membership and golfing lessons available. Njoro Club is just over one hundred year old. Started by railway engineers in 1903 as a social watering hole, the golf course was added in 1923 on land donated by Lord Delamere. In 1927 it merged with the polo club which is now the grounds of Njoro Girls High School, and the present club house and buildings were constructed. Portraits of the Royal family and early settlers adorn the walls, in fact Edward Prince of Wales (a regular visitor) played for the Njoro team against Nakuru in ’28. An 18 hole golf course played over 10 greens, 5 lane bowling green and Excellent 19th hole Membership Visitors must be signed in by a fully paid up member. Equipment can be hired to day members.
