4 Days | Bwindi-Ruhija Gorilla Trek Via Kigali

After breakfast, enjoy a brief orientation tour of Kigali as you head to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Museum for a visit.
Then, depart Kigali and head north-east, For the Rwanda/Uganda border point of Gatun. 70km, 1.5hrs
Straightforward border formalities and cross into Uganda. Lunch stop-over at the nearby Uganda border town of Kabale. (Or, at your lodge, if time allows) After lunch, drive to your Lake Bunyonyi lodge for check-in. 30km, 50mins (Lake Bunyonyi is below the southeast end of Bwindi Forest)
Afternoon leisure at your lodge, with optional activities such as Boat Ride, Jet Skiing, Zip Lining, Quad Biking, and Cultural Village visit.
Overnight on Full-board basis: Arcadia Lodge

Morning, enjoy the ultimate adventure - Gorilla Trek in south-east parts of Bwindi forest, Ruhija region.
At the end of your one-hour audience with your gorilla family, trek back to rejoin your driver-guide and vehicle.
Drive back to your lodge for freshening up and lunch.
Afternoon, at leisure, relax at the lodge, as you re-live the fresh memories of the close encounter with the gorillas; also, optional activity as above.

Breakfast at the lodge. Depending on your outbound flight schedule, you may:

(ii) Spend the morning at leisure in the Lake Bunyonyi area ? with opportunity for optional activities, as described above. Early lunch at the lodge, followed by check-out.

Then depart the Lake Bunyonyi region and drive back to the Gatuna Rwanda/Uganda border point.
Cross back into Rwanda and proceed on your return journey to Kigali ? with onward transfer to the Kigali airport for your evening outbound.
