Sentrim Samburu Camp is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River in Kenya and covers 165 km².  It is located in Samburu District of the Rift Valley Province.  It is one of the two areas in which conservationists George Adamson and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness made famous in the best selling book and award winning movie Born Free.  It is also the home of Kamunyak, a lioness famous for adopting Oryx calves.

This Luxurious tented lodge offers 20 modern tents with a private view over the wildlife – rich riverbanks. The spacious tents boast the very latest in luxury camping, with soft beds, en suite bathroom with steaming hot shower. The bathroom also offers a washbasin, flush toilet and sockets for shavers.
5 premium tents with a jacuzzi on the veranda.

Luxurious modern tents with secluded verandas. In the tent, we provide coffee and tea making facility, fridge, fan, hair drier and Electronic safe deposit boxes.
Riverfront dining deck and an open – air lounge area.

Food & Drink

The main dining room has a seating capacity of 50, but meals can also be enjoyed on your private veranda; as well as a spacious lounge and bar area, where naturalists deliver fascinating slide shows on most evenings.

345 km from Nairobi and takes approximately 6 hours by road to Sentrim Samburu and 50 minutes by air.  The camp is 15 km from the airstrip.
Generally hot and dry fanned by a cool breeze. Long rains are anticipated from mid April to May and the short rains from November to early December.  Min temp of 18° and max of 37° Celsius.
